Alisha Pradhan is a visionary entrepreneur, social change-maker, and media pioneer currently leading Asia’s first TV channel focused on Women’s Wellbeing – HerNet TV. Founded in 2019, HerNet TV was launched with the bold vision of a "Discrimination-Free Harmonized World for Women". It operates as a platform to address women’s rights, empowerment, and human rights for the underprivileged, including women, children, third gender, and minorities.
HerNet is committed to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2030), offering impactful programs and services in education, training, counseling, success stories, skill development, CSR, and more. Alisha’s mission is to serve communities through solution-based television programs that raise awareness and drive change.
A former film actress and producer, Alisha joined her family business at the age of 15. After completing an IT diploma in the USA, she returned to Bangladesh and joined Globe Pharma Group to gain corporate experience in the FMCG sector. Her innate leadership, strong communication skills, and strategic thinking have allowed her to excel in diverse industries including media, merchandising, and social impact.
Alisha is the Director of Global Chamber Bangladesh, connecting entrepreneurs across 100+ countries. She also served as a General Secretary at the Bangladesh Heritage and Craft Foundation, supporting female artisans and local culture. Her early involvement with Zonta demonstrated her commitment to women’s rights advocacy.
HerNet Foundation, under her leadership, has provided food, clothing, masks, sanitizer, and health support during COVID-19. She remains deeply involved in grassroots welfare and continues to stand for underrepresented voices.
